


SAN FRANCISCO and ORLANDO, Fla. – February 7, 2007– The HD Digital Radio Alliance, a joint initiative of radio broadcasters to accelerate consumer adoption of HD digital radio, and Sharper Image Corporation (NASDAQ:SHRP), a specialty retailer known as a leading source of new, innovative, high-quality products, today announced the launch of HD digital radio products in over 188 Sharper Image stores nationwide, as well as online and on the cover of the company’s celebrated catalogue. The retailer’s move will be heavily promoted in the Alliance’s $250 million 2007 ad campaign, announced in December.

This season, Sharper Image customers in stores and online at www.sharperimage.com can purchase two of the most popular tabletop HD digital radio models: the Boston Acoustics Recepter Radio HD is available in stores and online now. The Sangean receiver is available online and will be in stores beginning in April. In addition, the Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD will be on the cover of the company’s latest catalogue, widely regarded as the “Bible” for cutting-edge lifestyle products by the millions of consumers who receive it annually. The Sangean model retails for $249.95, the Boston Acoustics for $299.95.

HD digital radio enables consumers to hear a wide range of new HD2 multicast formats and programming as well as hearing their favorite radio stations in crystal clear digital sound – with no subscription fee. Over 1,100 radio stations in the United States currently broadcast in HD, with over 600 carrying HD2 multicast programming. All consumers need to hear it is a new HD digital radio receiver.
